The 2015 season in the Bow Valley proving to be one of the best!
Canmore as photographed by our very own Lindsay
The winter season is proving nothing short of epic so far with abundant snow continuing to fall. That, combined with warm temperatures and blue, sunny skies, is making this year’s one of the best seasons ever.
There really is no better time to take an exhilarating break amidst the splendour of the Bow Valley. And with weekend trips available at excellent rates, now is the time to seize the moment and take a trip that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
And where better to stay while enjoying the exhilaration of the slopes than at Canmore Holiday Accommodations’ luxurious twin Canmore Place Condos?
Our twin, adjacent condos sleep 5 and 6 respectively: comfortably accommodating parties of up to 11 people. They are ideal for two families who wish to holiday together while still keeping their own space; or for larger groups of any character: so whether it’s an extended family get together, a girls’ hen party or a college re-union, the Canmore Place Condos are the place to be.
Resting in one of the most sought-after locations in downtown Canmore, both of our first-floor, two-bedroom condos boast spectacular views of the wild, untamed majesty of the Canadian Rockies. At the same time, however, they are conveniently located for the amenities of downtown Canmore: the shops, the restaurants and the coffee shops. If you like to read, you’ll be happy that the condos are adjacent to the Canmore public library. And if you love pizza, you’ll be glad to know that Rocky Mountain Flatbread is just across the street!
The moment you step through the door, you will know that no expense has been spared in providing the best in modern living. Both condos feature cherry hardwood finishings, granite kitchen countertops, fir trim, large deck with BBQ hook-up, stunning fireplaces, vaulted ceilings and spacious, panoramic windows – all adding up to sheer luxury.
The kitchens feature a breakfast bar and are fully appointed with dishwasher, electric washer and dryer, side-by-side fridge with ice maker and water cooler, garburator (the Canadian “waste disposal unit”), electric oven/range, and microwave with hood fan.
The bathrooms boast solid granite countertops and heated floors and come stocked with luxuriously plush towels for your stay.
The living areas are sumptuously furnished, each with a large flat-screen TV with satellite dish and full wi-fi connectivity.
The building also features heated underground parking and an elevator, as well as no-stairs easy access.
As some of our first guests put it:
“We had a great stay in Canmore: the condo was absolutely perfect. The location worked out great. We’ve been to Canmore many times, but this was by far the best accommodations we’ve had.
“Thank you and we hope to do business with you in the future.”

“A life worth living is measured not by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”

Canmore came into its own after hosting the Nordic Events at the 1988 Calgary Olympics and since then the town has grown steadily and has attracted quality restaurants, bars, shops and galleries, making it a vibrant place to visit.
Canmore is well known for winter sports, being located close to Banff and all the world-class, spectacular ski resorts within the area. As well as the boarding and skiing, you can find dog sledding, ice fishing, ice climbing and cross-country skiing all within Canmore or area.
As the long ski season draws to a close (late May) the area continues to stay vibrant with white water rafting, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking and hiking all coming to the fore. Horse riding, fishing and golf also feature locally through out the warm summer months. Numerous festivals and events can be found in Canmore, with the Highland Games (September) and 24 Hours of Adrenalin (August) being the largest; with the Calgary Stampede being one of the largest annual events in Canada!
We would also like to thank Peak Photography for doing all of our photography for the properties. We consider them the best in Banff and thoroughly recommend them for all your photographic needs.
